Alloy 25 (C17200) requires heat treatment to achieve the desired properties but many customers find it problematic to do the heat treatment. NGK offers a solution to this problem by providing mill hard material which are pre hardened.

If the bending radius and forming permits, mill hard material are the best option as these can be stamped directly.

The major advantage of using this alloy is to stamp the material in the soft condition and then heat treat it as per the prescribed procedure to achieve the desired hardness.
